Electronic Communications Policy

Last Updated: July 20, 2026 · Version 2026-07-beta.1

CoastPix sends platform messages for its own accounts and may transmit Studio messages to Studio Clients. This policy explains the responsibilities attached to those communications.

Transactional Messages

Transactional or relationship messages should be limited to account security, requested access, bookings, contracts, invoices, payment receipts, gallery delivery, order status, service notices, and other information needed for an existing transaction or relationship. Promotional content should not be disguised as transactional content.

Marketing Messages

Marketing email must use accurate sender information, truthful subjects, required business disclosures, a working unsubscribe method, and timely suppression. Studios may not use purchased, scraped, stolen, or otherwise unauthorized contact lists.

Automated marketing text messages must not be sent without the consent and opt-out evidence required by applicable law. Consent to marketing is separate from required account or contract communications.

Opt-Outs

Marketing opt-outs apply to the appropriate sender and category. A person who opts out of marketing may still receive narrowly necessary security, legal, billing, fulfillment, and transactional messages. CoastPix and Studios may not use those exceptions to send promotions.

Studio Responsibility

The Studio is responsible for the legality, accuracy, recipients, and consent basis for Studio-directed messages. CoastPix may block messages or accounts that create spam, complaint, provider, safety, or legal risk. Templates and product controls do not guarantee legal compliance.
